The retractable feature of the SuperDeck® enables materials to be rolled in and out of the building as needed. Over a number of years, we developed the SuperDeck with multiple features intended to improve safety, time, and costs.

Nonetheless, our decks are often compared to other construction equipment rentals such as outriggers. Our decks offer a retractable system and a multitude of features that are unlike any other!

Performance, time efficiency, costs reduction, practicality, and safety components are all important factors when looking for material loading platforms. When comparing the two types of decks, SuperDecks and Outriggers, you should understand the quality and components that differentiate these products to one another. 1. PERFORMANCE

The SuperDeck® ensures maximum safety for workers and construction sites with a 5-ton load capacity and multiple features that significantly reduce the risk of injury.

One operator can easily set up our decks, rolling in and out as needed. This function facilitates effortless material handling and provides more space on site.

While other heavy equipment providers offer outriggers, these fixed decks actually average a lower load capacity of 3.5-4t and a fixed fixture that cannot be rolled in and out like our SuperDecks.

2. TIME EFFICIENCY ONSITE AND REDUCTION OF COSTS

Our decks provide the fastest, safest, and most efficient installation, usage, and de-rental process. You can save valuable time elsewhere through the 15-minute installation procedure, which requires only two backprops for security. Consequently, the SuperDeck® quickens the handling and transportation of materials and cuts down additional costs and time, producing a more time efficient work environment.

In comparison, depending on the design, the installation process for outriggers can take up to 60-minutes and needs 8 backprops to enable security of equipment.

The designs of other decks are usually non-retractable as well, which makes them less efficient than a SuperDeck®!

3. PARTICULARITY AND USABILITY

The particularity of the SuperDeck’s design enables painless management with customisable sizing available to suit any project’s requirements. Preston Rentals has 4 standard sizes of decks, which include 2200mm width, 2600mm width, 3200mm width and 4200mm width.

Our retractable loading platform system is ideally positioned vertically, one above the other, for the fast delivery of building materials directly to the designated floor.

Outriggers are normally only available in one deck size and have much longer installation time requirements. These decks typically create highly expensive installation procedures as they are more time consuming. Additionally, not all outriggers are retractable and tend to function as a fixed structure.

4. SAFETY

Our SuperDecks are continuously checked and maintained to ensure our equipment is in peak condition. Any damages are repaired during the de-rental process. We ensure that all equipment is working efficiently and most importantly, safely.

Suppliers often make outriggers out of wood. However, severe weather conditions can cause damage to these platforms, creating safety issues. The SuperDeck®, on the hand, is made of galvanized steel – a much stronger and weather resistant material.
